ROLE
ACCOUNTANT
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. 2. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and financial statements. 3. Assist with grant reporting and ensure compliance with donor regulations. 4. Maintain accurate accounting records and implement internal controls. 5. Process payroll and manage employee benefits. 6. Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting standards and regulations. 7. Work collaboratively with program staff to ensure proper financial management. 8. Assist with the annual audit process. 9. Perform other accounting duties as assigned. |
QUALIFICATION(S) REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a non-profit or civil society organization (preferred).

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).

ROLE
PROJECT MANAGER
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the full project lifecycle for assigned women’s empowerment projects, from proposal development to completion and evaluation.
- Secure funding through grant proposals and build strong relationships with donors.
- Develop detailed project plans, work plans, budgets, and timelines.
- Assemble and lead high-performing project teams, fostering collaboration and effective communication.
- Oversee project implementation, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Monitor project progress, identify and manage risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct regular project evaluations, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on project outcomes to stakeholders.
- Advocate for women’s empowerment issues and represent the organization at relevant events and meetings.
Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in women’s empowerment programming.
QUALIFICATION(S) REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Administration, Gender Studies, International Development, or a related field (preferred).

- Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy aligned with our organizational goals and target audiences.
- Manage and create high-quality content for various communication channels, including website, social media, press releases, newsletters, and reports.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets to secure positive press coverage.
- Manage social media platforms, develop engaging content, and build online communities around our work.
- Develop and implement public awareness campaigns to raise awareness of women’s issues.
- Assist with media relations, including press releases, media inquiries, and press conferences (as needed).
